Laying Up and Dedication of new Royal British Legion Branch Standard

Sheringham and District Branch of The Royal British Legion are delighted to announce that we are the proud possessors of a New Branch Standard, which will be dedicated at St Peter’s Church there will be a service at 2pm to Lay Up our old Standard, which will then be on display with the other Standards in the Church.  We will then dedicate our new Standard. At 1.15pm on Sunday 6th April we are holding a parade from the main car park, down Station Road and up Church Street to St Peter’s Church.  

The parade will be led by the Norwich Pipe Band, and we are hoping that many other Standards, Veterans and Youth Groups from Sheringham will join us.  

At the end of the service, we march back, up Waterbank Road, to the car park.   We will then have a social gathering in the Masonic Lodge. It…
